What is Ear Candling
Ear candling is a painless procedure that removes ear wax deposits from deep inside the ear canal. The extent of symptoms would gauge how frequently to schedule this process. Clients with extensive ear problems may undergo 8 sessions a year, and others less often.
The Procedure
You’ll first lie on your side while keeping your body in straight alignment. Next a special conical candle which ranges from 9 to 12 inches is inserted into a protective plate and the small tapered end of the candle is gently placed into your ear canal.
The candle is them lit and slowly begins a to burn. The special shape , design and length of the candle unhealthy toxins are easily extracted from your ear. After the candle has been burned down the therapist may cut the remnant to show you the unburned contents of your ear canal. it is normal to hear cracking and popping caused by the burning of the candle .
You’ll feel no discomfort or pain and the procedure should be very relaxing and beneficial.
Afterwards you may feel a warmth or itchiness up to 2 days after the procedure. This is fairly common and can be resolved by putting 2 drops of Echinacea in your ears and then gently wiping them with cotton swab.
This whole procedure last about 45 minutes to an hour.
